Definition of Backordered Orders: Inventory orders that cannot be shipped immediately.

Numerous external factors, including COVID-19, alongside the extensively reported global shipping situation, have placed significant pressure on inventory management for nearly every industry worldwide. In response to these challenges, cavapeca.com has introduced a comprehensive backorder system, offering you freedom and complete transparency when placing orders with us.

cavapeca.com’s delayed delivery system permits orders for bulk products that are not immediately available for shipment. These items will be dispatched promptly upon arrival, typically within 72 hours of the original order placement. Should any delays in shipment occur within this timeframe, our customer service team will get in touch with you to keep you informed of the order status.

If your order includes backordered inventory, you will receive an email notification detailing the products to be shipped at a later time. Once these items are ready for dispatch (within 72 hours), you will receive further notifications containing updated tracking references. The packing slips provided at each stage of the order will clearly outline the items you receive.

When sending backordered orders, a different courier service may be used compared to the one selected for the original order, depending on the size, value, and delivery location of the backordered products.

Delayed delivery applies only to orders shipping within Canada. Other locations will be reviewed by our backorder team on a case-by-case basis. We are dedicated to ensuring that you are kept informed at every stage of the process.

If we are unable to deliver the products with delayed delivery for any reason, our team will immediately reach out to discuss alternative solutions. Additionally, for orders with delayed delivery, a full refund will be provided.

As per our standard terms and conditions (link), refunds for delayed delivery orders paid via bank transfer will be issued as gift cards for future purchases. Refunds processed through credit or debit cards may take up to 7 business days to complete.

Products displaying negative stock quantities indicate that these items are currently undergoing delayed delivery processing.

While we strive to fulfill products with delayed delivery to the best of our ability, we cannot guarantee their availability and are constrained by current supply conditions.
